Ghost hunters Lee Steer and Lindsay Sheeran held a live paranormal investigation on F acebook – and were stunned by the “spirit” they say they uncovered.

The pair streamed it to their followers on their Ghosts of Britain group during a visit to Hull’s derelict Lord lane building.

They got more than they bargained for and claim their specialist equipment recorded a spooky figure roaming the abandoned halls.

Lee and Lindsay told the Hull Daily Mail that they had never been so scared by what they and other witnesses saw.

“We live streamed our investigation to thousands and loads of people were commenting that they could see a shadow stood in the hallway in one of the rooms in the Lord Line building,” Lee, 34, said.

The building has long been left derelict

“I was on the top floor of the building and felt like my legs were jellified. We do these kinds of investigations a lot but this one made me feel really uneasy.

“I felt scared, like I was sinking and it was a type of fear that’s hard to explain – it just wasn’t right.”

As part of their visit, they asked the “spirits” to change the temperature by 5c.

Upon their command, they say the room went very hot – then cold by 10c.

“That’s not something that we could have physically done,” he added.

“We had an EDP recorder that we used to ask the spirits questions and it was like the recorder had a mind of its own and started playing something else back to us, like something was actually controlling the machine.

“Another thing we did was transfiguration where we ask the spirit to manipulate the facial features of a person through the use of an ultraviolet light, which we did to Darren who was with us and we saw his face change into one of an angry sailor.”

Lindsay, 45, says the experience is not something she can just ignore.

She said: “I’m a skeptical believer in the paranormal. Twenty years ago I saw the ghost of a lady walk through the door in a house and since then I’ve always been interested in it really.

“But I feel like something is definitely there and last time we went it felt really intense, like the spirits were really annoyed as the property was a lot more vandalised than it had been several months ago.

“It felt like we were being watched and followed and felt spiritually unsafe, like we weren’t welcome, but the experience was really good and I really enjoyed it as it was so active.”
